Beim Burg. A village butchery that finally reads as well as it eats.
An Éislek village butcher, brought online.

Beim Burg is a Dorfmetzgerei (a village butcher) and party-service in Diekirch, serving the Éislek in the north of Luxembourg. The work is hands-on and seasonal: house-made sausages and specialties, cold platters for a gathering, a shop counter in Diekirch, a rotation of weekly markets, and a house-to-house delivery tour that brings the counter to the door. It is a business people already trust. It just needed a place online that trusted itself the same way.
The thinking
A butcher who travels to markets and delivers by tour has a real logistics problem to solve for the visitor: where will you be, and when. Most trade sites bury that under a generic homepage. The relaunch treats it as the point. A visitor should learn what Beim Burg makes, and how to actually get it, without scrolling for answers.
The design
The site is written in German, because the Éislek speaks German and the copy should meet people in their own language. A dedicated market section lays out the weekly schedule so the delivery tour and stalls read like a timetable, not a footnote. The palette is warm: parchment and cream against near-black, with a single butcher-red accent. So the craft feels like the craft. Photography carries the trade; nothing sits on top of it. Static, fast, and built to load on a phone at a market stall.
